Children's Home Registered Manager
We’re looking for an experienced Registered Manager to oversee a new 3 bed children’s homes in Sutton Coldfield. These homes support young people aged 2–18.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone confident with Ofsted, skilled in leading values-led teams, and committed to creating a safe, consistent, and nurturing environment for children.
Role Overview:
- Full-time, permanent leadership
- Previously Ofsted-registered or confident in completing registration
- Flexibility needed for on-call support
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the home in line with Children’s Homes Regs, Quality Standards, and Ofsted expectations
- Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and risk management
- Manage Reg 44 and Reg 45 processes
- Supervise, support, and develop your team
- Ensure financial sustainability and appropriate occupancy
- Foster a trauma-informed, reflective, and child-centred culture
- Liaise with external professionals and represent the homes during inspections
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children, Young People & Families)
- In-depth knowledge of care regulations and frameworks
- Leadership style that’s confident, collaborative, and calm under pressure
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous Ofsted registration experience

Children are supported to aspire, develop knowledge, understanding and skills, while being safe, socialising, and most importantly, having fun.
We are looking for Residential Support Workers to work alongside our dedicated staff team, adhering to the Statement of Purpose. The home is a 3-bed Children’s Home, supporting children aged 4–18 years. We provide high standards of care for children with learning disabilities, autism, and complex health needs, supporting their physical, psychological, emotional, and recreational development.

Our Ideal Candidate:
- 12 months experience in the care sector (preferably children’s residential)
- NVQ/QCF Level 3/4 in Children’s and Young People’s Workforce
- Full, clean UK Driving Licence
- Experience with:
- Disabilities, ADHD, Autism, Complex health needs, Challenging behaviour
- Communication difficulties, visual support systems
- In-depth knowledge of autism is a bonus
- Although experience and qualifications are desirable - we will consider candidates with transferable skills.
